Before Periphery became a full time band, and you could finally make music for a living, how did you manage the cost of daily life? Were you studying on the side, for a plan B of sorts, with financial help from your parents, or did you work a dead-end job somewhere and hope for the best?
I worked at Radio Shack and I lived with my parents because even though they charged me rent, it was way cheaper than renting my own studio apt. I had no Plan B. I had already dropped out of school, and I was just working my job during the day and working on music at night. Even though I had no guarantees of anything and was working my ass off, I was so much happier and more fulfilled than I ever had ever felt in school.
