This is the page of a true Orthodox Russian metal band Batyushka. We are not related to satanic Polish posers with a similar name "Batushka" who are engaged in blasphemy. In contrast, our name БАТЮШКА is correctly translated into the Latin alphabet (Batyushka). This name has existed since 2005 when the first demos of our music were recorded. We are a group of Orthodox Christians priests who create music in their free time and carry the word of God in metal / rock music communities. We vehemently position ourselves against Satanism and mockery of our Orthodox religion in any form!
